Going Home!

September 13th, 2008 by Jason

On our way out of the hospital, we stopped and posed for a quick photo.  I couldn’t wait to get home.  Earlier, while carrying our stuff to the car, I was seeing the flashing lights of an oncoming migraine headache.  The ride home was rough for me, but we’re all OK now, after a nap and some Excedrin…

Those hands belong to Tracy’s aunt, Diane.  I think Ian looks Asian in this photo.  I made a comment in reference to this while Tracy’s doctor was still in the room.  Tracy’s doctor, Dr. Lim, is a young Asian woman.  She just snickered and shot me a smile…

Live from St. Joe!

September 11th, 2008 by Jason

It is just a bit after 5am and Tracy has been in labor for almost 12 hours now.  I’m glad I brought my laptop so I’d have something to do while she writhes in pain.  I decided it would be easier to setup this blog than to send a bunch of photos and text missives out to everyone.  This way, both Tracy and I can keep everyone updated without having to remember who we sent what to and what we said.  I caught a nap earlier but I’m wide awake now.  Tracy is on an epidural high but is still experiencing pressure in her lower back that is keeping her awake.  Dr. Lim says that we’ll be parents anytime now…
