So I went the entire month of June without updating and then when I tried to update the site was broken!  I’ve been scolded multiple times for not updating. My apologies! Ian had his 9 month check up in June and he was 31 inches and 22 lbs. He’s tall!

I’m just going to throw a bunch of pics from June and July up here. All of them are from around the house. He’s pulling up and cruising and I fear that the walking independently will be here way too soon. He now walks behind his push toys! He waves, and claps his hands too!

Ian was 6 months old on Wednesday. I don’t know where the time has gone! He had his 6 month well baby visit today. He’s doing great, and is growing fast! He weighed 19.7 pounds and was 29.5 inches long. He is in the 100% tile for his height!

Tonight I was on the floor playing with him, and he was sitting up with my help. I let go and he stayed sitting up! We threw some pillows behind him and he continued to play sitting up! So we snapped the following shots.

Ian has been Mr. Happy Baby lately, even without taking good naps. I probably shouldn’t say it because I’ll jinx it and he’ll get crabby again. I forgot to update after his 4 month well baby visit. He weighed 17.5 lbs and was 27.5 inches long. His personality is showing itself more and more every day, and he’s turning out to be a very stubborn little man with his own mind!

Ian had his 2 month check up today. He got his first rounds of shots and actually took them like a champ, but he’s been a bit fussier then normal. He is 24 inches long and weighs 13 lbs 14.6 ounces. BIG BOY!

I took these shots on Wednesday. I had an appointment to get my hair done and I was planning on meeting my mom at the salon so that I could show him off and have her take him back home to watch him after, but plans changed, so I got him dressed in cute clothes for no reason, so I decided to take pictures…

Ian’s umbilical cord fell off this week so he got his first bath! He surprised me and was really calm, and almost enjoyed it, except when I had to rinse his head off.

We also had his 2 week check up on Thursday and he’s still perfect. They had to do the second PKU test at this appointment, and I think he cried the loudest we’ve ever heard him cry it was heartbreaking. I’m so dreading vaccinations.

We had our first visit to the pediatrician yesterday. Ian is half way back to his birth weight and doing well. We’ll go back next Thursday for his 2 week visit, but the doctor was impressed by his alertness. This kid follows all kinds of noises and will crane his neck to find our faces, and has been since he was just a couple of days old.

We’re slowly getting into a schedule, unfortunately Ian’s schedule includes waking up for food and a diaper change around 3 a.m. and staying awake until 5 a.m. He’s a night owl like his daddy.
