A few weeks ago Ian noticed Jeb, my brother’s dog, for the first time. Jeb would walk towards him, and Ian would laugh and laugh. He didn’t seem to have this reaction to our cats until recently. Just within the last week or so he started noticing the kitties, and every time they would walk or jump within his line of sight he would laugh, but it’s gotten progressively better. Tonight Sutty walked by while he was in his bounce-a-roo and he started cracking up and squealing.
Ian turned 5 months old on Wednesday. I can’t believe it’s been 5 months. He’s going to be mobile before we know it. He’s getting bigger and bigger by the day. His 9 month sleepers are stretched to the fullest. I gave him pears today for the first time. It was his first baby food. He ate it all up!
We’re hopeful to get a new car in the next year, so we decided to go to the car show to get a look at all the cars we like in one place. Beats traveling from dealership to dealership. Ian did really well. He started getting tired towards the end so we found a quiet spot in the Convention Center and just hung out for a few minutes until he calmed down and then we headed home. We got some pictures while we were relaxing in the quiet spot:
I love the 4th picture. It looks like he’s angry and ready to beat someone up “you wanna mess with me!?”
